Looks Like Aunt Whitney

Ruby's Aunt Whitney was famous for the evil stink eye she could give. I guess in the few days that Whitney was helping with Ruby she picked up on it. So cute!

More Pictures

She came really quick. My water broke at 12:30 pm and we had her at 7:37 pm!!

Our new baby girl. We couldn't be more proud. Isn't she cute?

Here is some of my family enjoying little Ruby. First time aunts and uncles so you can imagine their excitement.

After 3 days of lab work the Dr. decided Ruby's billirubin levels were still too high so she gets to lay in a tanning bed for the weekend. Her levels are already significantly lower after just half a day under the lights. We're glad she's getting better but so sad that we can't hold her all the time.

Baby Quilt

So the second I found out that we were having a girl I set out to the fabric store to buy fabric for a crib quilt. Surprisingly I finished the quilt last night. . . before the baby came (no she's not here yet). I am so proud that I got it done on time. Hooray for me.

These are not the greatest pictures, but you get the point.

Off to a good start this morning?

You've gotta love those days when you let your dog out to go potty and she decides to take herself for a walk. . . and then vanishes when you run inside to throw on some flip flops. Yes, I roamed the neighbor hood for 15 minutes, 9 months pregnant with bed head, no bra, and make up smeared all over my face from my quick face wash before bed last night. Looking good Jen, looking good. I swear I'm going to kill that dog.

Start of a New Chapter

Yesterday was officially my last day at work (well for now. . . maybe). I decided that I didn't really want to be driving a hour to get home to the hospital should the baby decide to come early. (No baby so far). I thought my last day would either be filled with overwhelming joy or tears of sadness. But I really felt nothing. . . just seemed like any ordinary work day and that I'll be going back on Monday. I don't think it will hit me for a while. Now the question is. . . what do I do with all of my free time until this baby comes?
