She is getting so big we can hardly believe it. Ruby at 6 1/2 months. She loves to talk. . . just like her daddy. Between the two of them I hardly get a word in.

Easy Holiday Treats & a Visit From Santa
Pretzels
Hersey's Hugs
Red & Green M&M's
Place pretzels on cookie sheet and place unwrapped hugs on top of the pretzels. Bake at 200 degrees for 5 minutes
Remove from the oven and plop an M&M on each hug topped pretzel.
Cool and Serve. Yum!
Also Ruby met Santa and was apparently bored with the situation. She wouldn't even take the candy cane.

I don't do Laundry. . .
These two have taken over laundry duty for me. . . well every thing except for carrying them to the laundry room. . . and sorting the laundry. . and putting the laundry in the washer. . . and moving the laundry to the dryer. . . and folding and putting away the laundry. . . ok so they don't help at all. But they sure do love to "help."
Can I ride in the basket too?
I may have just found a new way to contain this wiggly thing.
Give the baby kisses. . . you just wait Daisy pretty soon she'll get back at you!

Bath Time
No one hates bathing!
Chubby buddah baby. . . going cross-eyed.
And a cute coat I bought at Gap. I love baby clothes that look like tiny big person clothes.

Week of weird things
It's been one of those weeks where weird stuff happens. For example the gentleman throwing rocks at our bedroom window during the night. And all of our neighbors moving out within a matter of 2 days. But here's an interesting one for you.
Vegas has got to be close to the top of the list of cities with people trying to bum stuff off of you. Don't believe me? Take a walk down the strip. Or simply drive off of any exit. . . guaranteed you will see someone holding a cardboard sign.
Anyway. Ruby and I took a drive down to the gas station to fill up the car. A pretty normal activity. No? As I was standing beside my car waiting while the gas pumped the young man on the other side of the pump asked me if I knew how to get to a certain city. I had heard of this city and know that it is close but could not tell anyone how to get there without checking with google first. Which I cannot do since I don't have data capabilities on my phone. I told him I had just moved here and had know idea how to get there.
So I go on with my business waiting for the gas to finish pumping when another young man walks up to me and explains that he needs me to put some gas in his car, motioning to the car that the guy I just talked to is sitting in. According to him they had driven out to my city to apply for jobs but didn't have enough gas to get home. And apparently didn't know how to get home, which made their sob story sound a bit sketchy. The two young men bantered back and forth about needing to call someones mom to help them out but they didn't have a phone and hadn't thought to maybe go into the gas station to ask to use their phone.
As they began to beg me again for some gas another young man walked up and asked me and these two boys if any of us could please put a little bit of gas in his car because he didn't have any money. I stared at him in unbelief as the first young man said, "dude I was just asking her the same thing and if I had any money I'd totally help you out."
Are you kidding me? What kind of a scheme is this? They all three turned and looked at me one more time and it took me a few seconds to pick my jaw up off of the ground to tell them I couldn't help them. Where upon they all scattered to ask everyone else they could see for help.
As I drove out of the parking lot I saw one of the young men walk back to get into his car with a wad of money someone had given him. I don't know where he's from but in America you can't pay at the pump with cash. Am I right? Am I a bad person for not filling every one's cars up at the gas station? Maybe. No I don't think so.
